What is the phone ringing out actually costing you?
Three numbers and you will know. These are the same conservative figures we use in our client reports, so nothing here is inflated to make a point.
How this is worked out
A missed call is not a lost job every time, so we count one in five missed calls as work you would have won. Australian research puts the share of callers who simply ring the next business, rather than leave a message, far higher than that, so this is deliberately on the low side.
Bigger jobs take longer to win, so we taper high job values rather than multiplying them straight out, and we cap the job value used at $20,000. A $60,000 build does not convert like a $300 service call, and pretending it does makes the number useless.
This is an estimate from your own figures, not a promise. It is the same model behind the reports we walk clients through, and we will show you the workings on a call.
